As an older stay at home sort of person, my decision to use Koenig-Solutions in India for my
MCITP: Enterprise Administrator Windows Server 2008 training was a bit of a gamble, but the chance to see some real mountains in Shimla was too much of a temptation. I've been here for a month and other than being very tired when I first arrived I have not regretted it one little bit.
From the arranging of the flight, through being met at Delhi airport, the overnight stay in
Delhi and the train transfer to Shimla, Koenig had arrange it all well. I met at Shimla station and taken to my apartment for a good night sleep prior to the start of my course the following day. After breakfast I was taken by a car to their training center, an interesting 15 minute drive. An introduction to our fantastic trainer and we were away.
The course material was the Microsoft Official Course material and our trainer had an excellent knowledge of the subject. There was no language trouble as he has very good English and he was able to explain even the more complicated aspects of the course very well and easily. I did have a few moments when the exams had me worried, but it is a testament to his teaching that even in the hardest of the exams I was able to apply the knowledge that he had given me and I'm now MCITP certified. Thanks!
Every one of the Koenig staff that I've meet has gone out of their way to make sure that my time in India has been trouble free and pleasant. A special thanks to Praveen for organizing the trip up into the mountains, I will always remember being able to see China from across the Himalayas. I can’t forget to not to mention Raju, the Koenig cook and the guy who generally looked after all staying at the apartments. Thanks Raju.
I'm glad that I chose to stay at the
Koenig Apartments, not just because of the price, but I got to meet a great bunch of people. Thanks for the Holi experience guys.
India is not Kent/England and there is a real difference in culture, but as long as you accept the differences you will find that you have a great time amongst a very friendly people. I will definitely return, both to visit the many sites of India and to take some more qualifications with Koenig
