Hi, I’m Matthew Kramer and I came for a week to take two super fast-track courses on C# and the .NET framework. I’m a relatively new developer with about 1.5 years of experience including a little bit of experience with C# before coming. It’s definitely possible to learn on the job but my employer heard about Koenig and thought it would be a cost-effective way to get training for employees and give them a chance to enjoy some time away to travel.  So with this trip, my co-worker and I have been the first ones to give it a try. 

This has also been my first time to India so I’ve really enjoyed getting to see so many new things and learn more about the country. I did my training in Goa and it has been amazing.  I arrived early Friday morning and spent the weekend traveling around. The bus stations seemed a little crazy compared to other places (like Europe) because of all the shouting but it was pretty easy to catch buses to different towns in Goa. 

I started training on Monday and spent the rest of the week with my trainer. My biggest concern about the training had been that I might not like my trainer. But I quickly discovered that this would not be a problem. My trainer was easy to understand and communicate with and she had a great knowledge of the material we covered (and a lot of other programming languages and topics as well). I also really appreciated her suggestion that I switch one of my courses when it became clear I would benefit more from taking a more current course. And she was also just a lot fun in general.  

I had a great time at my training and I would strongly recommend it to others who would like to receive training and experience other cultures.
