UNSERE KURSTEILNEHMERINNEN UND KURSTEILNEHMER

Hi all, I am João Araújo from Angola. I work for Movicel Telecomunicações Lda, a telecom company in Angola.

My journey in india was filled of great experience. I spent 25 days doing MCITP: database developer and database administration training and certification. As a recent employee (just finished university less 1 year ago) it was hard to keep all the new information that i received from my teacher. I also have a 5 year IT graduation in university done in Instituto Superior Técnico, Lisbon, Portugal.

I tried to follow all the books, read them and ask every question that came in my mind. I could not have better reply from my teacher. She answered every question and helped me even with issues other then the training classes. And even with the "small" time that we had to do all classes (i did it in fast track) she stooped when i was lost or when i wanted to ask some question. She also did some extra work to show me things that was not in the books.

In the end the experience was a lot positive.

Besides the course i could visit some places. Taj Mahal in Agra was simple fascinating. I thing you just must be there to see its beaut. In my last they i want to visite the india Gate. I did also some shopping in some markets in delhi: Karol Bagh (clothes), Canaugth place (everithing you want) and Nerho place (electronics). This country it amazing. They have everinthing. I came to the course with just my laptop and the clothes that i had in my body. I found everithing else here. I am returning home with lots of things.

Beside all this positive things i must say that there was some things could be improved. One is the time we have to take the courses. I think that koenig should make student understand better in with track they should take the course. I mean, you can think that you can have the course in fast track when that is not true.There could also be more options. Like for example, slower than regular track. I think this would help unexperiencied studants.

People that come to Koenig to do the certification should be experiencied ones. When you know some practical things in the field that the course covers you can follow the explanations with more confidence and you can skip some boring chapters in the books. Even better, you can tell your teacher that you know and that you just want the advanced aspects off the chapter or books.

If you just want to have training this could also be a good place. You just must choose your wright track. And even better, during your training they offer you the option to change your trainer is you are not satisfied. I personally didn´t find any complains about my teacher. Besides my teacher she is also my friend now. She also gave me some advises in my career.

I hope to return to India and koenig next year to do my BI training and certification.
