Flights: Getting to Goa is straightforward from the UK.  Arrive in Mumbai or Delhi (about 8½ hours) and it is a quick trip to Goa.  At the Goa Airport you are met by the Koenig Driver and taken to your hotel or apartment as per the type of accommodation that you choose.

Accommodation: I stayed in a serviced apartment approximately ten minutes drive from the training center and shared with two other students.  The accommodation is not luxurious but it is clean, the rooms are large and there is a shared kitchen for preparing snacks or tea.  Also, there is a nice on-site swimming pool!  I much preferred to stay in an apartment as it allowed me more freedom than a hotel plus I had the additional benefit of some company over a couple of beers.  A taxi arrived each morning and evening at a mention time to take you to and from the center though if you need to leave early there are always plenty of taxis.

Training:  The trainers at Koenig are very helpful & knowledge. I was on a ‘fast-track’ course and thought I had registered it in GT I had had one-to-one tuition.  The trainer certainly knew her topic and put all points across well.  There was plenty of time for practical work and I did not feel at all rushed.  If there were items that I did not fully understand the first time through there was no problem with reviewing the topic until I felt satisfied that I had understood.

Staff at Koenig: Everyone at Koenig were very friendly and went that ‘extra mile’ to make you welcome, whether you were cashing travellers cheques to booking those dreaded exams. They help you in making you stay very comfortable.

Warning: If you think that attending a course in Goa would be an easy option, then you would be mistaken. It’s a boot camp, Courses run Monday to Saturday inclusive from 9:00 am until 5:00 pm with 1- hrs. Lunch break. There is plenty of reading to do in the evenings and on Sunday.  You will have little time (apart from the mandatory visit to the beach on Sunday afternoon) for much relaxation!

Recommendation: Come to Goa for one week extra then your training period weeks spend days for the training and the final week travelling around.  The beaches are fantastic and people very friendly!
