My employer here in Greenland told me I had to look in to upgrading my MCSE on Microsoft Windows Server 2003 to 2008. I found out what I should look for was Technology Specialist on 2008. My employer told me I could decide myself where to take the course but a few points things should be met. Firstly cost should be lower than the cost of the course in Greenland. Secondly the course should be educational with hands on experience and not only a certification.

I searched the Internet and found Koenig Solutions which seemed covering my demands and the price saved on the course easily covered the travel expenses.

I got ready by ordering a tourist visa from the Danish Embassy and had the shots recommended by my doctor. My doctor also recommended getting some freeze-dried milk bacteria for my stomach, to prevent any problems.

I flew to New Delhi airport with Jet Airways and it was a brilliant airline, even travelling on coach as me. Arriving at the airport, getting through emigration and picking up my suitcase all went smooth. The Koenig driver was where he was supposed to be and he then took me to Koenig Inn.

Transiting from the airport to the hotel was my first experience with traffic and the polluted air and both take a while getting used to. My eyes started itching and my nose running, but it was easily cured with a daily pill of antihistamines, which you can either bring or buy in any chemist in Delhi.

The first day after arriving I did an amazing Delhi trip which I would recommend anyone doing. It was arranged by the most helpful and hard-working office person I have ever met, Manishia.

Second day my course started and I met my brilliant trainer.

4 things to do while in delhi:

1st: Stay at Koenig Inn. It is great and the Karol Bach market is great to explore for anything from clothing to foods, there is even a McDonalds and Pizza Hut if the curry becomes too much.

2nd:  Join the Yoga class in the morning at Koenig Inn. The instructor is brilliant and I have never felt as energetic as the days when I started with yoga.

3rd: Have one day off and take the Delhi tour arranged with Koenig. It is brilliant seeing Old Delhi, India Gate, Lotus Temple and the rest.

4th:  Do the Agra trip, Taj Mahal is so amazing.

All in all I can say I hope to do more courses at Koenig Solutions and equally Koenig has become the place to go for my colleagues for further IT courses.

The teaching style of my instructor was very educational meanwhile we also spend time discussing our different cultures and countries having lots of laughs and not only study.

The course went so well that I decided doing two more exams and thus became MCITP  instead of only TS on Windows Server 2008.

The Koenig experience I highly recommended!
